About DecoroDea

Welcome to DecoroDea

DecoroDea started in 2026 with a frustration most of us share: every “budget decor” article online seemed to end with a shopping list that cost more than rent. We wanted a home that felt warm, calm and personal — without pretending money was no object.

So we started documenting what actually works. Thrift store finds cleaned up and styled properly. Dollar Tree pieces that look triple their price. Paint, lighting and fabric tricks that change a room for the cost of a pizza night. That experiment became DecoroDea.

What We Publish

  • Budget home decor — whole-room ideas with the real, item-by-item cost.
  • Bedroom decor — cozy, restful bedrooms built from affordable layers.
  • Seasonal decor — Halloween, Christmas and everyday seasonal refreshes that reuse what you own.
  • Easy DIY projects — weekend projects with simple tools and honest difficulty ratings.

Our Promise

Every idea on DecoroDea lists real prices. If a project needs a $9 thrifted lamp, we say $9 — and we will tell you what to skip, too. When an idea or photograph comes from another creator, we credit the source. And we write for real homes: rentals, small apartments and busy families, not showrooms.

Who Runs DecoroDea

DecoroDea is created and edited by Arslan Ali, a home decor enthusiast who believes good taste is a skill, not a budget. Questions, corrections or ideas are always welcome on the contact page.

Beautiful homes don’t need big budgets — they need better ideas. That’s what we’re here for.
